Interpretive Listening 2023

This course discusses about words, expressions, and interpretive meanings in English related to comparative sentences, conditional sentences, cause and effect sentences, sentences of sequence events, vowel distinction, synonyms or closely related words, identification of word meanings from the content, specific sound spelling patterns, identifying speakers associated with professions, sight sound problems, suggestions/offers and requests/purpose and intentions, mini talks, short lectures, and longer conversation. These materials are designed to build and refine listening skills learned in intermediate level in various topics, both in General English, or English for Specific Purposes.
