Creative Writing (7A)

This course aims to train and equip the students with basic concept of creative writing and its practices, from the stage of exploring ideas to producing creative writings. The material discussed in this course is focused on: (1) basic concepts and techniques of creative writing, (2) exploring ideas and writing materials, (3) writing fiction texts, which include poetry, prose and drama scripts. The lecture will be done by combining the expository method and the practice of writing. Assessment to determine the achievement of these competencies is carried out by assessing theory, practical writing assignments and final semester project.
