Literal Reading is the first level of reading courses. It aims at introducing underlying concept of English learning through reading activities. The activities include reading skills such as finding topic, previewing and predicting, identifying main ideas and supporting details, recognizing time order, scanning for information, distinguishing facts from opinion as well as making inferences. Additionally, some genres of text are introduced in this course, including Narrative, Report, Persuasive and Descriptive.
