By taking this course, doctorate students will have a broad knowledge about trends development in EFL teaching as well as the integration of language across the curriculum, across multiple skills, as well as content and technology.

This course aims at empowering the students' competencies in language teaching through professional development. The course discusses the concept of Professional Development (PD), the goals of PD, analyzes English learning techniques in order to maintain its professionalism, strategies for expanding professional skills, discusses the latest trends in English learning, and develops new skills. to advance the field of English Education. To show their competencies about the course, the students are requested to share their critical thinkings about PD through presentations and class discussion. They are also demanded to submit a scientific article at the end of the semester.
