Dissertation Work_In_Progress -Class A,B,C,D
A "dissertation work-in-progress" is an activity that is used to track the progress of the students from the time they are admitted to candidacy until they submit their dissertation. The students are required to write WIP reports as a research management and assessment tool that reveals the health of a research process relative to its progress. The submissions in the Work in Progress category describe research that has not yet produced the full results required for a regular paper but that, due to its novelty and potential impact, deserves to be shared with the community at an early stage. Work-in progress papers enable students to share late-breaking results with the research community. The emphasis of WIP papers is on the reporting of the work in progress itself, not its completeness. Students are required to write the WIP reports and presentations at least three times during the process of their research until the dissertation
submission is finalized.
